Conversion to Activities?

What are the plans here regarding converting the Tasks to Team Build 2010 Activities?

I too am interested in using TFS 2010.

I'm looking for TFS 2010 Stylecop Team Build Verfication and was pointed to the MSBuild Extension Pack.

See here: http://stylecop.codeplex.com/Thread/View.aspx?ThreadId=212079

If these aren't going to be converted to Team Build Activities...how can I use the existing extension pack with TFS 2010?

Dave, see this link for using msbuild tasks in Team Build 2010 WF builds: http://geekswithblogs.net/jakob/archive/2010/05/05/executing-legacy-msbuild-scripts-in-tfs-2010-build.aspx

I'm currently looking at 'porting' relevant tasks to activities. No ETA at this time.

Mike, thanks for the reply and the link. Helps me get started with this.

I would love if there was a quickstart/sample walkthrough with all of the steps to get this stuff all glued together in a build in TFS 2010. If I get a chance I may even document my efforts.

I am currently (and by "currently", I mean right at this second) in the process of updating our builds to Team Build 2010.  I've already integrated some tasks through the method documented above (also well-documented here: http://www.oweng.net/Visual-Studio-2010/MSBuild/Custom-Tasks-in-MSBuild-4.0-and-Team-Foundation-Build-3.aspx) and they seem to be working fine, once I got past a few basic problems, like getting the MSBuild activity to find the project files (http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/tfsbuild/thread/ff9f7257-941b-40e8-adff-f4e00b454f4d).

It's not as nice as having a dedicated Activity, but it's functional, and once you've added the sequences, etc. to your build, it's pretty easy to reuse what you've done in other build templates.
