Hi, The plan is a task that Stop AppPool and waits until state Stopped. (the same task for Start AppPool)

I test using Iis7AppPool Task. I check that the task not waits until Stopped State

I call Iis7AppPool Task (Action Stop) and then I get state of AppPool, and the value is Stopping (in some cases) !!!

any suggestions ?
    <MSBuild.ExtensionPack.Web.Iis7AppPool TaskAction="Stop" Name="$(AppPoolName)" />

    <IISManagerTask ActionName="GetAppPoolState" ServerName="$(Servidor)" AppPoolName="$(AppPoolName)">
      <Output TaskParameter="AppPoolState" PropertyName="AppPoolState"/>

IIS 7 does not install an ADSI provider by default.
You can enable it however as a Role Service for the IIS Web Server.
You need to enable the IIS 6 Metabase Compatiblity role service.
Probably a better way to proceed is to change your code to use the WMI provider for IIS 7
