Missing MSBuild.ExtensionPack.VisualStudio

Jun 8, 2011 at 5:53 PM

Hi,

We installed version 4.0.3.0 of the Extenson pack(both verisons). In the folder it places the files, there is no listing for MSbuld.ExtenstionPack.VisualStudio.VB6, we need this as we are autobuilding VB6 projects from TFS 2010.

On the site it says:

If you are upgrading from 4.0.2.0 to 4.0.3.0, please uninstall 4.0.2.0 first.

However we cannot find any downloads for 4.0.2.0, I assume 4.0.2.0 contains the VisualStudio tasks.

Please advise on where I can download 4.0.2.0 or if there is another preresquite needed!

Thanks,

Larry

Hi Larry

The VB6 task is in MSBuild.ExtensionPack.dll

From: http://www.msbuildextensionpack.com/help/4.0.3.0/html/c68d1d6c-b0bc-c944-e1a2-1ad4f0c28d3c.htm

Valid TaskActions are:

Build (Required: Projects Optional: VB6Path, StopOnError)

Remote Execution Support: NA

Namespace: MSBuild.ExtensionPack.VisualStudio
Assembly: MSBuild.ExtensionPack (in MSBuild.ExtensionPack.dll) Version: 4.0.0.0 (4.0.3.0)
